Two of the most delicious edibles in existence come together for Philadelphia’s Bacon and Beer Festival, which arrives this Saturday, November 14.
The festival returns for year three this weekend with all of the bacon and beer of your dreams. Local restaurants, bacon producers and breweries will convene at the 23rd Street Armory to dish a variety of bacon and beer items for anyone with a ticket to enjoy.
Participating breweries include largely local beer makers like Yards, Dogfish Head and Sly Fox, as well as national names like Allagash, Brooklyn Brewery and more.
Restaurants and food producers that will serve up bacon-themed dishes include the Bacon Jams, Taproom on 19th, City Tap House, Cheu Noodle Bar, Bing Bing Dim Sum, Triangle Tavern and Fourth and Cross.
Tickets are required for entry to the festival and are $46.50 for general admission and $75 for VIP.
General admission includes all of the bacon and beer samples you can stomach, and VIP tickets unlimited bacon and beer samples, a t-shirt and a half-pound of 1732 meats. Tickets are available online. Note that this festival is only open to those over the age of 21.
And for anyone who needs even more reason to pig out, know that the festival benefits MANNA, a local organization that provides meals for the severely ill.
